Son r\u00f4le est de permettre le maintien \u00e0 domicile des personnes en pr\u00e9servant et en stimulant leur autonomie, et en veillant \u00e0 leur qualit\u00e9 de vie. La \u00b7le garde \u00e0 domicile agit dans l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat du b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire et dans le respect de son libre choix.\n\nLa garde \u00e0 domicile peut travailler en compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 avec l\u2019aidant proche (la famille ou l\u2019entourage) et permet, par son action, de le seconder et de lui offrir du r\u00e9pit.\n\nEn R\u00e9gion Wallonne, le travail du garde \u00e0 domicile est d\u00e9fini par un statut.\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required qualification<\/strong>\u00a0:<\/h3>\n<strong>IN THE WALLOON REGION : <\/strong>\n\nBe in possession of a certificate of registration as a family helper issued by the Ministry of the Walloon Region, together with a certificate certifying that training has been completed in one of the following areas:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Enseignement secondaire de plein exercice&nbsp;: certificat d\u2019auxiliaire familiale et sanitaire, certificat d\u2019aide familial\u00b7e, certificat d\u2019aide-soignant\u00b7e, certificat de pu\u00e9riculteur\u00b7trice, certificat d\u2019aspirant\u00b7e en nursing<\/li>\n \t<li>Enseignement de promotion sociale&nbsp;: certificat d\u2019auxiliaire polyvalent\u00b7e des services \u00e0 domicile et en collectivit\u00e9, certificat d\u2019aide familial\u00b7e, certificat d\u2019aide-soignant\u00b7e<\/li>\n \t<li>Work-study education and training centre: same qualifications as for full-time education<\/li>\n \t<li>Centre de formation reconnu par la R\u00e9gion Wallonne&nbsp;: attestation de capacit\u00e9 d\u2019aide familial\u00b7e<\/li>\n \t<li>AFPK training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAs part of the respite projects supported by AWIPH, staff must have qualifications corresponding to one of the educational, social, paramedical or medical functions recognised by the CP 318 to which the service belongs.\n\n<strong>IN THE GERMAN-SPEAKING COMMUNITY<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li>AFPK (Ausbildung Familien &amp; Seniorenhelfer\/in und Pflegehelfer\/in<\/li>\n \t<li>Full secondary education: 6<sup>th<\/sup> Familienhilfe\u00ab year\u00bb<\/li>\n \t<li>Full secondary education: 7<sup>th<\/sup> Pflegehilfe\u00ab year\u00bb<\/li>\n \t<li>Bachelor of Nursing (successful completion of first year)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>SKILLS REQUIRED<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li>Demonstrate expertise in helping people with everyday tasks<\/li>\n \t<li>Demonstrate an ability to occupy and animate the person<\/li>\n \t<li>Demonstrate the ability to work in an organised department and as part of a team<\/li>\n \t<li>Know how to work in an interdisciplinary manner, referring to other professionals for all tasks that go beyond his\/her competence<\/li>\n \t<li>Knowing how to adapt your work to situations in the home<\/li>\n \t<li>Know how to work autonomously in the home while respecting service guidelines, decisions taken by the team and beneficiaries in the context of their daily lives.<\/li>\n \t<li>Demonstrate the ability to observe, reflect, analyse and pass on information about situations encountered.<\/li>\n \t<li>Developing a sense of human contact, listening skills and the ability to build relationships<\/li>\n \t<li>Be able to react in the event of an exceptional situation<\/li>\n \t<li>\u00catre rigoureux\u00b7se dans le suivi des consignes administratives<\/li>\n \t<li>Respect the rules of professional ethics, discretion, professional secrecy and shared secrecy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>LINE MANAGER<\/strong>\n\nLa garde \u00e0 domicile d\u00e9pend hi\u00e9rarchiquement de l\u2019assistant\u00b7e social\u00b7e qui l\u2019encadre et de la direction ASD.\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MISSIONS<\/h3>\n<strong>PRESTATION CHEZ LE\u00b7LA B\u00c9N\u00c9FICIAIRE<\/strong>\n\n&#8211; Assurer une pr\u00e9sence active aupr\u00e8s du b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire, selon les consignes \u00e9tablies par l\u2019assistant\u00b7e social\u00b7e\n<ul>\n \t<li>ensure physical and moral safety and comfort<\/li>\n \t<li>offer appropriate activities<\/li>\n \t<li>providing relational support: listening, identifying difficulties, support through presence, dialogue, etc.<\/li>\n \t<li>aider \u00e0 l\u2019accomplissement des activit\u00e9s li\u00e9es aux soins de base d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne et de sant\u00e9&nbsp;: veiller \u00e0 la prise correcte des m\u00e9dicaments, aider le\u00b7la b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire \u00e0 assurer son hygi\u00e8ne corporelle, \u2026 Ces actes sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans le cadre de l\u2019aide \u00e0 la vie journali\u00e8re et il est interdit de dispenser un soin technique relevant de l\u2019art infirmier.<\/li>\n \t<li>prepare and give meals to beneficiaries in connection with the service<\/li>\n \t<li>help with travelling outside the home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n&#8211;
